Editorial / Content Studies

Print - Digital- Web- E-Newsletter:

Help editors stay in touch with their audience and obtain an overview of reader attitude towards the editorial content. By getting feedback on the extent to which their content is read, editors can find out how well they are communicating with their readers, change editorial direction if necessary and/or obtain material for future topics.

EdStudy™
Measures reader interest, reading habits, editorial acceptance, and readership of a specific issue. Readers are asked to provide degree of readership and interest/usefulness in specific feature articles and departments as well as report on length, degree of coverage, timeliness as well as other feedback of interest to the editor. Feedback is provided both quantitatively as well as qualitatively through extensive verbatim comments.

Editorial Acceptance Study
Provides overview of reader perception and acceptance of the editorial content. Readers are asked how well the content communicates with them and meets their needs. This study can produce material and direction for future topics, future cover and cover-line direction, and/or feedback on issue redesign.

Web and E-newsletter Content Study
Provides overview of reader perception and acceptance of the Website and/or E-newsletter content. Readers/visitors are asked how well the content communicates with them and meets their needs. They can be asked to rate site design, ease of navigation, provide reasons for using particular and/or competing sites, as well as suggestions for future applications and/or changes.

Other Editorial Studies
These studies are customized to fit your specific needs. They can provide material for future articles through in-depth feedback on a subject of interest, or address other specific needs.

The above studies are usually conducted electronically. In the case of print publications they could also be conducted by mail.
